Neither of the two had ever been to Scotland, but they knew they wanted a Scottish wedding. So this past summer, after a period of dating and saving up enough funds, Kyle and Katie finally tied the knot in front of 200 guests at St. Andrew’s Golf Club outside Glasgow.
The newlyweds were in charge of all the planning and details for their week-long wedding celebration. From renting out three cottages to accommodate friends and family to researching which distillery would be best for their whisky tasting experience following the ceremony, there was plenty to plan even though it was just six months away.
Both Kyle and Katie work full time jobs in different cities so it was important for them to find a venue that offered accommodations for everyone – including those with dietary restrictions like gluten
